Abstract: It is shown that the deviations of Riesz projections P_n = frac{1}{2pi i} int_{C_n} (z-L)^{-1} dz, quad C_n={|z-n^2|= n}, of Hill operators with zero and periodic potentials go to zero as even if we consider as operators from to This implies that all -norms are uniformly equivalent on the Riesz subspaces
Particular ordinary differential operators (Dirac, one-dimensional Schrödinger, etc.) (34L40) Riesz operators; eigenvalue distributions; approximation numbers, (s)-numbers, Kolmogorov numbers, entropy numbers, etc. of operators (47B06) General theory of ordinary differential operators (47E05)
