Abstract: Let be a unimodular Lie group, a compact manifold with boundary, and be the total space of a principal bundle so that is also a complex manifold satisfying a local subelliptic estimate. In this work, we show that if acts by holomorphic transformations in , then the Laplacian on has the following properties: The kernel of restricted to the forms with is a closed, -invariant subspace in of finite -dimension. Secondly, we show that if , then the image of contains a closed, -invariant subspace of finite codimension in . These two properties taken together amount to saying that is a -Fredholm operator. In similar circumstances, the boundary Laplacian has similar properties.
