Seidel Representation for Symplectic Orbifolds

Abstract: Let

be a compact symplectic orbifold. We define

p i_{1} (H a m (X, o m e g a))

, the fundamental group of the 2-group of Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms of

(X, o m e g a)

, and construct a group homomorphism from

p i_{1} (H a m (X, o m e g a))

to the group

Q H_{o r b}^{*} (X, L a m b d a)^{i m e s}

of multiplicatively invertible elements in the orbifold quantum cohomology ring of

(X, o m e g a)

. This extends the Seidel representation ([Se], [M]) to symplectic orbifolds.
