Complex cross--ratios and the Ptolemaean inequality

Abstract: We use Kor'anyi--Reimann complex cross--ratios to prove the Ptolemaean inequality and the Theorem of Ptolemaeus in the setting of the boundary of complex hyperbolic space and the first Heisenberg group.
