Conical limit sets of hyperbolic subgroups

Abstract: Given a hyperbolic subgroup

for which a Cannon-Thurston map

exists, we study the limit set

. We prove that the set of conical limit points is exactly the subset of

consisting of the points to which the Cannon-Thurston map

injects. Moreover, we show that when

is not quasi-convex in
