On the 1-dimensional complex Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator

Abstract: We show that for any fixed $hetain(-fracpi2,,0)cup(0,,fracpi2)$, the 1-dimensional complex Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator �egin{equation*} ilde{mathcal{L}}_{ heta}= 4cos heta frac{partial^2}{partial zpartial �ar{z}}-e^{mi heta} z frac{partial}{partial z}-e^{-mi heta}�ar{z} frac{partial}{partial �ar{z}}, end{equation*} is a normal (but nonsymmetric) diffusion operator.
