Abstract: We introduce a class of unitarily invariant, locally |cdot|1-dominating, mutually continuous norms with repect to au on a von Neumann algebra mathcalM with a faithful, normal, semifinite tracial weight au. We prove a Beurling-Chen-Hadwin-Shen theorem for Hinfty-invariant spaces of Lalpha(mathcalM,au), where alpha is a unitarily invariant, locally |cdot|1-dominating, mutually continuous norm with respect to au, and Hinfty is an extension of Arveson's noncommutative Hardy space. We use our main result to characterize the Hinfty-invariant subspaces of a noncommutative Banach function space mathcalI(au) with the norm |cdot|E on mathcalM, the crossed product of a semifinite von Neumann algebra by an action , and B(mathcalH) for a separable Hilbert space mathcalH.
