Abstract: The present note shows that -groups in [H. Heineken and F.G. Russo, Groups described by element numbers, Forum Math. 27 (2015), 1961--1977] are solvable groups (not necessarily nilpotent) for which the equation is satisfied.
Finite solvable groups, theory of formations, Schunck classes, Fitting classes, (pi)-length, ranks (20D10) Arithmetic and combinatorial problems involving abstract finite groups (20D60) Finite nilpotent groups, (p)-groups (20D15)
