(Non-)amenability of the Fourier algebra in the cb-multiplier norm

Abstract: In view of the reason for withdrawal, we can no longer maintain the claim that A(G) is not amenable in the cb-multiplier norm if G contains a closed subgroup isomorphic to the free group in two generators.
