Abstract: Let $mathcalA$ be a prime $ast$-algebra. In this paper, we suppose that $Phi:mathcalAomathcalA$ satisfies ${\displaystyle }$Phi(Adiamond B)=Phi(A)diamond B+AdiamondPhi(B)${\displaystyle }$ where $AdiamondB=A^{\ast }B-B^{\ast }A$ for all $A,BinmathcalA$ .We will show that if $Phi(alphafracI2)$ is self-adjoint for $alphain1,i$ then $Phi$ is additive $ast$-derivation.
