Abstract: Let be hyperbolic, property (T) groups, for some . We prove that if a product of measure preserving actions is stably orbit equivalent to a measure preserving action , then is induced from an action such that there exists a direct product decomposition into infinite groups. Moreover, there exists a measure preserving action that is stably orbit equivalent to , for any , and the product action is isomorphic to .
