Abstract: Let be a finite reflection group. A -invariant function of class~ may be expressed as a functions of class of the basic invariants. In finite class of differentiability, the situation is not this simple. Let~ be the greatest Coxeter number of the irreducible components of and be~the Chevalley mapping, if is an invariant function of class , and is the function of invariants associated by , then is of class . However if~ is of class , in general is of class and not of class . Here we determine the space of -invariant functions that may be written as functions of class of the polynomial invariants and the subspace of functions of class of the invariants such that the invariant function is of class .
