Convexity of asymptotic geodesics in Hilbert Geometry

Abstract: If is the interior of a convex polygon in and two asymptotic geodesics, we show that the distance function is convex for sufficiently large. The same result is obtained in the case is of class and the curvature of at the point does not vanish. An example is provided for the necessity of the curvature assumption.
