Abstract: We build a new estimate for the normalized eigenfunctions of the operator −partialxx+mathcalV(x) based on the oscillatory integrals and Langer's turning point method, where mathcalV(x)sim|x|2ell at infinity with ell>1. From it and an improved reducibility theorem we show that the equation [ extstyle { m i}partial_t psi =-partial_x^2 psi+mathcal V(x) psi+epsilon langle x angle^{mu} W( u x,omega t)psi, quad psi=psi(t,x),~xinmathbb R, ~mu<minleft{ell-frac23,frac{sqrt{4ell^2-2ell+1}-1}2 ight},] can be reduced in L2(mathbbR) to an autonomous system for most values of the frequency vector omega and u, where W(varphi, phi) is a smooth map from mathbbTdimesmathbbTn to mathbbR and odd in varphi.
