First-order theory of a field and its Inverse Galois Problem

Abstract: Let $L$ be a global field or a function field over a number field. We show that the inverse Galois problems over $L$ is Turing reducible to Hilbert's tenth problem over some subrings $R$ of $L$. In some cases, using results of Dittmann, we can take $R=L$.
