Comparative numerical results on HANSO (Hybrid Algorithm for Nonsmooth Optimization)

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to give an opinion on which software should be used by researchers working in applied fields when using free software found in the literature. Of course, this study is not enough alone as there is no comparison with other free software, but this study provides comprehensive information about the algorithms used by the Hybrid Algorithm for Non-smooth Optimization software, known as HANSO. In addition to this information, the robustness and the accuracy of this software are discussed in this study.
