Abstract: Let 1<pot=2<infty, epsilon>0 and let T:ellp(ell2)oversetintoightarrowLp[0,1] be an isomorphism. Then there is a subspace Ysubsetellp(ell2) (1+epsilon)-isomorphic to ellp(ell2) such that: T|Y is an (1+epsilon)-isomorphism and T(Y) is Kp-complemented in Lp[0,1], with Kp depending only on p. Moreover, Kple(1+epsilon)gammap if p>2 and Kple(1+epsilon)gammap/(p−1) if 1<p<2, where gammar is the Lr norm of a standard Gaussian variable.
