Abstract: We consider the perturbed Stark operator , varphi(0)=0, in L2(mathbbR+), where q is a real-valued function that belongs to mathfrakAr=leftqinmathcalArcapextAC[0,infty):qinmathcalAright, where mathcalAr=L2(mathbbR+,(1+x)rdx) and r>1 is arbitrary but fixed. Let leftlambdan(q)ightn=1infty and leftkappan(q)ightn=1infty be the spectrum and associated set of norming constants of Hq. Let ann=1infty be the zeros of the Airy function of the first kind, and let omegar:mathbbNomathbbR be defined by the rule omegar(n)=n1/3log1/2n if rin(1,2) and omegar(n)=n1/3 if rin[2,infty). We prove that lambdan(q)=an+pi(an)1/2int0inftyextAi2(x+an)q(x)dx+O(n1/3omegar2(n)) and kappan(q)=2pi(an)1/2int0inftyextAi(x+an)extAi(x+an)q(x)dx+O(omegar3(n)), uniformly on bounded subsets of mathfrakAr. In order to obtain these asymptotic formulas, we first show that lambdan:mathcalAromathbbR and kappan:mathcalAromathbbR are real analytic maps.
