Abstract: Let $mathbbA=mathbb{F}_q[T]$ be the polynomial ring over the finite field $mathbb{F}_q$. In this article, we prove a generalization of T'oth identity on $mathbbA$ involving arithmetical functions, multiplicative and additive characters.
