Abstract: We use the Jacobi-Trudi formula to execute "explicit" evaluation of determinants of Stirling numbers of both kinds. We also offer a Maple package accompanying the paper on the personal websites at the end of the second page.
Exact enumeration problems, generating functions (05A15) Symmetric functions and generalizations (05E05) Factorials, binomial coefficients, combinatorial functions (05A10) Binomial coefficients; factorials; (q)-identities (11B65)
