Frieze matrices and infinite frieze patterns with coefficients

Abstract: This work generalizes a result from Baur and Marsh about the determinant of a matrix whose entries are cluster variables of a cluster algebra of type . We will study simetric matrices whose entries satisfy the so called "generalized diamond rule", and which can be thoguht as cones of a infinite friezes with coefficents. Due to the method of studying these matrices we are led to study a different set of arrangements, which we will call "friezes", in which every diamond consisting of neighbouring entries is equal to zero.
