Abstract: Let be an artin algebra and be an -cluster tilting subcategory of mod. We use the concept of the infinite radical of and show that has an additive generator if and only if rad vanishes. In this case we describe the morphisms in powers of the radical of in terms of irreducible morphisms in . Also, by using injective envelopes, projective covers, left -approximations and right -approximations of simple -modules, we give other criteria for recognizing the finiteness of an -cluster tilting subcategory . In addition, we give a nilpotency index of the radical of which is independent from the maximal length of indecomposable -modules in .
