On the index of bipolar surfaces to Otsuki tori

Abstract: We obtain estimates on the Morse index and nullity of bipolar surfaces to Otsuki tori $ilde{O}_{p/q}$ for $p/q$ sufficiently close to $sqrt2/2$.
