Abstract: Let , and let be a non-degenerate tuple of algebraic numbers with for and none of is root of unity. Let be a number field and be an algebraic number. Let be any number. In this article, we study the solutions of the inequality in , depending on rational or irrational. Here denotes the distance between and its nearest integer in . As a consequence of our result, we show that if , , is a polynomial of degree and is a sequence of integers satisfying x_{n+1}=P(x_n)~~mbox{for all~~} n=0,1,2ldots,quadmbox{and~~~} x_n oinftyquadmbox{as~~~} n oinfty, then either the number is transcendental or is not a pseudo-Piost number for all large values of , provided is not an integer.
