Abstract: Let be a finite group and a finite dimensional (non-zero) orthogonal -module such that, for each prime dividing the order of , the subspace of fixed by a Sylow -subgroup of is non-zero and, if the dimension of is odd, has dimension greater than . Using ideas of Avvakumov, Karasev, Kudrya and Skopenkov and work of Noakes on self-maps of sphere bundles, we show that, for any principal -bundle over a compact ENR , there exists a -map from to the unit sphere in .
