Abstract: For non-zero integers n and kgeq2, a generalized Diophantine m-tuple with property Dk(n) is a set of m positive integers S=a1,a2,ldots,am such that aiaj+n is a k-th power for 1leqi<jleqm. Define has property . In a recent work, the second author, S. Kim and M. R. Murty proved that Mk(n) is O(logn), for a fixed k, as we vary n. In this paper, we obtain effective upper bounds on Mk(n). In particular, we show that for kgeq2, Mk(n)leq3,phi(k),logn, if n is sufficiently larger than k.
