Abstract: In this paper, we begin the study of the Fermat equation over real biquadratic fields, taking mathbbQ(sqrt2,sqrt3) as a first example. To reduce the existing asymptotic bound for mathbbQ(sqrt2,sqrt3), we determine the torsion primes of degree 8 using previous work of Derickx-Kamienny-Stein-Stoll. We treat the smaller prime exponents by studying the modular parametrisation and some smaller integer exponents by studying certain hyperelliptic curves.
