Abstract: Let mathcalI be an ideal on mathbbN. A mapping f:XoY is called an mathcalI-covering mapping provided a sequence ynninmathbbN is mathcalI-converging to a point y in Y, there is a sequence xnninmathbbN converging to a point x in X such that xinf−1(y) and each xninf−1(yn). In this paper we study the spaces with certain mathcalI-cs-networks and investigate the characterization of the images of metric spaces under certain mathcalI-covering mappings, which prompts us to discover mathcalI-csf-networks. The following main results are obtained: (1) A space X has an mathcalI-csf-network if and only if X is a continuous and mathcalI-covering image of a metric space. (2) A space X is an mathcalI-csf-countable space if and only if X is a continuous mathcalI-covering and boundary s-image of a metric space. (3) A space X has a point-countable mathcalI-cs-network if and only if X is a continuous mathcalI-covering and s-image of a metric space.
