Abstract: Let n1,n2,ldots,np be a sequence of positive integers such that n1<n2<cdots<np and mathrmgcd(n1,n2,ldots,np)=1. Let S=langle(0,np),(n1,npn1),ldots,(np1,npnp1),(np,0)angle be an affine semigroup in mathbbN2. The semigroup ring k[S] is the co-ordinate ring of the projective monomial curve in the projective space mathbbPkp, which is defined parametrically by egin{center} x0=vnp,quadx1=un1vnpn1,quadldots,quadxp1=unp1vnpnp1,quadxp=unp. end{center} We consider that n1,n2,ldots,np forms an arithmetic sequence. For p=2,3, we give an explicit set of minimal generators for the derivation module mathrmDerk(k[S]). For p>3, we write an explicit formula for mu(mathrmDerk(k[S])) and give a potential set of derivations for the derivation module mathrmDerk(k[S]). Further, we give an explicit formula for the Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity of the co-ordinate ring of any projective monomial curve.
