Abstract: We compute the dimension of the family of determinantal hypersurfaces in mathbbP3, where the defining matrix has polynomial forms of arbitrary degree as entries. Our computation exhibits that determinantal surfaces in mathbbP3 of degree four form a divisor in |mathcalOmathbbP3(4)| with 5 irreducible components. We calculate that the degree of each of those components is 320,2508,136512,38475,320112.
