Abstract: In 2011, the theory of mathcalIK-convergence gets birth as an extension of the concept of mathcalI*-convergence of sequences of real numbers. mathcalIK-limit points and mathcalIK-cluster points of functions are introduced and studied to some extent, where mathcalI and mathcalK are ideals on a non-empty set S. In a first countable space set of mathcalIK-cluster points is coincide with the closure of all sets in the filter base mathcalBf(mathcalIK) for some function f:SoX. Frechet compactness is studied in light of ideals mathcalI and mathcalK of subsets of S and showed that in mathcalI-sequential T2 space Frechet compactness and mathcalI-Frechet compactness are equivalent. A class of ideals have been identified for which mathcalIK-Frechet compactness coincides with mathcalI-Frechet compactness in first countable spaces.
