Abstract: We study transverse equivariant Hilbert schemes of -invariant affine hypertoric varieties. In particular, we show that the Coulomb branches of Braverman, Finkelberg, and Nakajima can be obtained either as such Hilbert schemes or Hamiltonian reductions thereof. We also investigate the putative complete hyperk"ahler metrics on these objects. We show that they can be described as natural -metrics on moduli spaces of solutions to Nahm's equations on a star-shaped graph with poles at the outer ends of the edges and with the matching of solutions at the central vertex described by a hyperspherical variety canonically associated to a hypertoric variety.
