Abstract: Quadratic algebras of the type $lsb{Q}_0,Q_{p}msb$ $=$ $pm{Q}_{p}m$, $lsb{Q}_{+},Q_{-}sb$ $=$ $a{Q}_0^2+b{Q}_0+c$ are studied using three-mode bosonic realizations. Matrix representations and single variable differential operator realizations are obtained. Examples of physical relevance of such algebras are given.
