J-holomorphic Disks and Lagrangian Squeezing

Abstract: We define an invariant

for Lagrangian submanifold and prove that if the Lagrangian submanifold is embedded in the ball of radius

must be smaller than

. This improves Gromov's Lagrangian embedding theorem.
