Abstract: In this note, we present a formula for the action of the primitive Steenrod-Milnor operations on generators of algebra of invariants of the general linear group $G{L}_n=GL(n,mathbb{F}_p)$ in the polynomial algebra with $p$ an arbitrary prime number.
