Abstract: The homotopy type conjecture is part of the geometric P=W conjecture of L.Katzarkov, A.Noll, P.Pandit, and C.Simpson [KNPS15] in non-abelian Hodge theory. It states that the smooth Betti moduli space of complex dimension d over a general punctured Riemann surface, has dual boundary complex homotopy equivalent to a sphere of dimension d-1. Via a microlocal/contact geometric perspective, we verify this conjecture for a class of rank n wild character varieties over the two sphere with one puncture, associated to any "Stokes Legendrian knot" defined by a n-strand positive braid.
