A Hilbert bundle approach to the sharp strong openness theorem and the Ohsawa-Takegoshi extension theorem

Abstract: We give a proof of Guan's sharp strong openness theorem using positivity properties of certain trivial Hilbert bundles, which confirms a conjecture of Berndtsson in cite[section 5]{Bern15b} (see also cite[section 3.1]{Bern20}). The main idea is to use an extra H"ormander $L^2$-estimate to prove an infinite dimensional version of Lemma 2.3 in cite{Bern20}. A second proof of Guan-Zhou's strong openness theorem using a Donnelly-Fefferman version of our extra H"ormander $L^2$-estimate is also given. In the final part of this article, we give a short account of the first named author's thesis, which contains a very general form of the Berndtsson-Lempert method for the sharp Ohsawa-Takegoshi extension theorem.
