Abstract: This note provides an effective bound in the Gauss-Kuzmin-L'evy problem for some Gauss type shifts associated with nearest integer continued fractions and acting on the interval or . We prove asymptotic formulas for such transformations , where is the Lebesgue measure on , the normalized -invariant Lebesgue absolutely continuous measure, subinterval in , and is smaller than the Wirsing constant
