Abstract: For any sequences mathbfu=u(n)ngeq0,mathbfv=v(n)ngeq0, we define mathbfumathbfv:=u(n)v(n)ngeq0 and mathbfu+mathbfv:=u(n)+v(n)ngeq0. Let fi(x)(0leqi<k) be sequence polynomials whose coefficients are integer sequences. We say an integer sequence mathbfu=u(n)ngeq0 is a polynomial generated sequence if {u(kn+i)}_{ngeq0}=f_i(mathbf{u}),~(0leq i< k). %Here we define mathbfumathbfv:=u(n)v(n)ngeq0 and mathbfu+mathbfv:=u(n)+v(n)ngeq0 for any two sequences mathbfu=u(n)ngeq0,mathbfv=v(n)ngeq0. In this paper, we study the polynomial generated sequences. Assume kgeq2 and fi(x)=mathbfaix+mathbfbi(0leqi<k). If mathbfai are k-automatic and mathbfbi are k-regular for 0leqi<k, then we prove that the corresponding polynomial generated sequences are k-regular. As a application, we prove that the Hankel determinant sequence det(pi+j)i,j=0n1ngeq0 is 2-regular, where p(n)ngeq0=0110100010000cdots is the characteristic sequence of powers 2. Moreover, we give a answer of Cigler's conjecture about the Hankel determinants.
