Abstract: The definite integrals $in{t}_{-1}^{1}x[P_u(x){]}^4,mathrmdx$ and $in{t}_0^{1}x[P_u(x){]}^2[P_u(x){]}^2-[P_u(-x){]}^2,mathrmdx$ are evaluated in closed form, where $P_u$ stands for the Legendre function of degree $uinmathbbC$. Special cases of these integral formulae have appeared in arithmetic studies of automorphic Green's functions and Epstein zeta functions.
