Abstract: We define a new class of singular positive traces on the ideal of generated by exponentiation invariant generalized limits. We prove that this new class is strictly contained in the class of all Dixmier traces. We also prove a Lidskii-type formula for this class of traces.
The authors generalize the Lidskii formula \(\mathrm{Tr}(T)=\sum_{n\geq 0} \lambda(n,T)\) to the case of the Connes-Dixmier trace of an operator \(T\) in the Dixmier ideal \({\mathcal M}_{1,\infty}\). In particular, such a formula holds for the so-called exponentiation invariant generalized limits \(\omega\), involved in the definition of the Dixmier trace. A draft of the paper is available at \url{http://arxiv.org/abs/1210.3398}.
