For fixed natural numbers \(Q\) and \(\ell\) we study all natural numbers \(n\) for which \(\varphi^{\ell}(n)\mid Qn\) and characterize them completely in the case of an odd \(Q\). This note continues the paper of \textit{M. Hausmann} [Can. Math. Bull. 25, 114--117 (1982; Zbl 0484.10005)].
