The vectorization of five well-known algorithms, the explicit-implicit MacCormack scheme, the implicit scheme of Beam and Warming, a boundary- layer algorithm, a Galerkin procedure and a Monte Carlo simulation, for the solution of problems in computational fluid dynamics is discussed and computation times are given.
