Abstract: We compute the Euler characteristics of the generalized Kummer schemes associated to $AimesY$, where $A$ is an abelian variety and $Y$ is a smooth quasi-projective variety. When $Y$ is a point, our results prove a formula conjectured by Gulbrandsen.
