Abstract: We study -vectors of simplicial complexes which satisfy Serre's condition (). We say that a simplicial complex satisfies Serre's condition () if for all faces and for all , where is the link of with respect to and where is the reduced homology groups of over a field . The main result of this paper is that if satisfies Serre's condition () then (i) is non-negative for and (ii) is non-negative.
