Tldr This paper rigorously analyzes and provides new acceleration strategies for RCLUPPr, a randomized CholeskyQR with LU preconditioning algorithm that reduces error propagation by placing LUPP decomposition as a preconditioning step directly on tall-skinny matrices; it enjoys better applicability to ill-conditioned matrices than existing methods.
