Abstract: We show that if $Xsubseteqmathbb{P}^{n-1}$, defined over $mathbbQ$ by a cubic form that splits off two forms, with $ngeq11$, then $X(mathbbQ)$ is non-empty. The same holds for an $(m_1,m_2)$-form with $m_{1}geq4$ and $m_{2}geq5$.
