Reliability analysis of systems with time-varying failure rate
From MaRDI portal
On the basis of Chapman-Kolmogorov equation the author obtains formulas for the reliability of systems composed from some modules with given structures. The components fail independently and they failure rates are varying in time. Some particular examples in the case of Weibull distribution are considered in detail.
