Scoring Play Combinatorial Games
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: In this paper we will discuss scoring play games. We will give the basic definitions for scoring play games, and show that they form a well defined set, with clear and distinct outcome classes under these definitions. We will also show that under the disjunctive sum these games form a monoid that is closed and partially ordered. We also show that they form equivalence classes with a canonical form, and even though it is not unique, it is as good as a unique canonical form.
