Several theorems on global asymptotic stability of the zero solution and of periodic solutions to nonautonomous delay equations are given. These equations, after transformation, are of the type \[ \dot x(t) = (1+x(t)) F(t,x_t). \] The condition for stability is of the type: negative feedback plus a Lipschitz-type condition (involving the expression \( \frac{x}{1+bx}\)) with a sufficiently small constant. One main tool in the case of oscillatory solutions is the detailed analysis of the solution behavior between a zero and the subsequent minimum or maximum. The results contain and extend a major part of related results in the literature. About four concrete examples, preferably from mathematical biology, are included.
